Nuclear Throne is a post-apocalyptic roguelike-like top-down shooter. *Getting Boiling veins and being on 4 HP will 100% guarantee that Lil' hunters explosions and fires will NOT kill you. *Lil' Hunter after being killed, will start flying around, then explode. Make sure you are prepared to fight Shielders and grunts! My first few hours spent with this top-down shooter from Super Crate Box and Ridiculous Fishing developer Vlambeer didn’t go. You can shoot at him without going out from cover! Nuclear Throne is not a game for people who get frustrated easily. B-skin unlock: Fish's B-skin will unlock once you loop the game with each. His special ability is a high-speed roll for getting around the wasteland (and enemy projectiles) quickly, and his Throne Butt allows unlimited rolling. 2) Take throne butt with eyes and a melee weapon and stay behind walls, activating my ability so i can kill creatures. Description: Fish starts out with more ammunition and gets more from weapon and ammo drops than other characters. *Homing weapons are the best against Lil' hunter. Your best strategy 1) Just pick fish and shoot every thing around (Not really a strategy but i always pick the ammunition mutations. *If you have hammer head, don't waste thoose seconds to create cover! He will either way destroy it, and by that time you could clear the next area so you can move around more! Nuclear Throne somehow manages to be both fun and frustrating at the same time, making for an interesting roguelike shooter that will keep you coming back for more.
*If your spawn is a box leading to a huge hallways, you are pretty much screwed. AAA doesnt perform better on the dollar than a good indie strategy does.
In all honesty, though, I usually just use the roll to get around faster. Nuclear Throne is a 7 year old pixel game thats out on almost everything by. With enough practice you can also use the roll to evade enemy attacks, too. *Lil' hunter spawns after 5-8 seconds of entering 5-3. Fish is a great character with a strong passive ability that allows him to get more ammo. Nuclear Throne's greatness lies in how all these variables and considerations pull against one another, giving rise to shifting layers of strategy, surprise and white-knuckle brinkmanship.
